Qualifications

• Qualified or part qualified accountant.
• Strong grounding in accounting fundamentals.
• Proven experience supporting or leading month end close.
• Solid experience in inventory accounting and costing.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, record and report accounting transactions accurately.
• Prepare general ledger entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Produce balance sheet, profit and loss and consolidated financial statements.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and investigate unusual movements.

Skills

Qualified or part qualified accountant

Strong grounding in accounting fundamentals

Proven experience supporting or leading month end close

Solid experience in inventory accounting and costing

Strong financial analysis skills

Working knowledge of UK GAAP
