Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking an Information Security Analyst to help protect people, systems, data and digital services that support one of the world’s most recognisable football clubs. This hybrid role is based in Liverpool, with three days on‑site, offering broad exposure across security operations, vulnerability management, cloud and Microsoft security technologies.

You will collaborate with the Club’s SOC and business teams to identify, investigate and reduce cyber risks, while helping to mature

Qualifications

• Experience in information security or cyber operations.
• Experience investigating security alerts, vulnerabilities or incidents in a business environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security technologies (Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune, Purview).
• Understanding of security standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS and NIST.
• Experience with managed security providers and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support management, investigation and coordination of security alerts, incidents and vulnerabilities with SOC and internal teams.
• Own tracking and remediation of vulnerabilities and control gaps.
• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments and control testing across systems and cloud services.
• Help improve security awareness via communications, training content and phishing simulations.
• Contribute to security projects including Microsoft security tooling and cloud controls.
• Produce security reports and dashboards for management and risk tracking.
