Qualifications

• Proven experience in the design of protection and control schemes.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Produce comprehensive suite of design drawings for protection and control systems.
• Develop new protection solutions for a future smart grid.
• Integrate protection and SCADA systems for cost-effective design solutions.
• Create Engineering Design calculations and documentation.
• Visit sites to assess project requirements.
• Review designs from suppliers to ensure compliance.

Skills

Design of protection and control schemes

Knowledge of Electrical Networks

Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation

Experience with substation control equipment

Familiarity with standard protocols like IEC 61850
