The role focuses on gaining hands-on accounting experience within Accounts Payable and Purchase Ledger, using Excel and accounting systems. A recent Accounting/Finance graduate will thrive in this supportive finance environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-level understanding of accounting principles from university studies.
• Recent graduate seeking start in Accountancy & Finance.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and ability to learn new accounting systems.
• Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Processing payments accurately and timely to support the Finance team.
• Assist with day-to-day Accounts Payable functions including transactions processing and checking.
• Prepare payment information and maintain accurate financial records.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and assist in resolving queries.
• Liaise with internal departments and external contacts regarding payments and queries.
• Assist with reconciliations and ensure records are up to date.
• Maintain financial documentation and support audit requirements.
• Use accounting systems and Excel to manage financial information.
• Support wider Finance team with additional accounting and administrative tasks.
