Job summary

Brooks Automation US LLC seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the global monthly close and oversee financial reporting under US GAAP and SOX. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge and leadership across international teams.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with collaboration across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and HR, plus opportunities to drive process improvements and scale finance operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a publicly traded company.
• 4+ years of people leadership or Accounting Manager-level experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Experience with global month-end close processes in manufacturing.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global monthly close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations per US GAAP and SOX.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting across international subsidiaries.
• Maintain a world-wide monthly close calendar and update stakeholders.
• Partner with external auditors to support audits and reviews.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff locally and overseas.
