Job summary

Gazelle Global Consulting Limited in Bristol is seeking a GCP Data Architect for an 8-month contract to shape scalable cloud data solutions and guide engineering teams.

You will lead architecture across modelling, ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption, ensure governance, security and compliance, and define reusable patterns.

Hybrid work: 2 days per week in the Bristol office; finance transformation program.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cloud data architectures on GCP.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling (3NF, Data Vault, dimensional).
• Experience governance, lineage, and metadata management.
• Finance data domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GCP data architecture across ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
• Define reusable architecture patterns and roadmaps.
• Ensure governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders across domains.
