Job summary

ITV Manchester is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the Central Services Division on a permanent basis. You will deliver budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis translating overhead data into clear commercial value.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will partner with HR, Comms and Legal to manage resources, track headcount, and align central budgets with business objectives. This role operates at both granular and strategic levels within a major media brand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an FP&A role.
• Hands-on experience with month-end reporting, financial analysis, and budget/forecast preparation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for large datasets.
• Qualified accountant, finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Ensure overheads are accurately reported during month-end, with variances investigated.
• Prepare financial bridges to illustrate movements, translating data into insights for stakeholders.
• Deliver timely financial reports and commentary with business partners and management.
• Model cost data to explore different business scenarios and drivers.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities to optimise overhead spend and EBITA.
• Track headcount movements and forecast payroll costs with HR.
• Review overhead spend to maintain financial discipline and compliance.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and process improvements.
• Champion data accuracy across financial systems and investigate anomalies.
