Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join its finance team, supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and robust financial reporting in line with UK GAAP/IFRS. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and contribute to high‑quality reporting across the close process.

You'll assist with month-end, year-end activities and complex accounting issues, driving improvements to controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified or very nearly qualified accountant with statutory accounts experience.
• Proficient in UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end processes.
• Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements in reporting and controls.
• Handle wide-ranging ad-hoc reporting tasks.
