Job summary

Very Group is seeking an Assistant Technologist to join our fashion product development team. You will manage products from first fit to production, collaborating with internal design, buying, merchandising and supply base to deliver quality, fit and timely market introduction.

You will work closely with designers and suppliers, build strong relationships with trading teams, and develop strategies for improvement while ensuring compliance with UK/EU regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development from first fit through to production within fashion.
• Understanding of grading and sizing regulations.
• Numerical and analytical skills to review returns data.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with trading teams, sourcing hub colleagues and suppliers to develop strategies for areas of improvement and maximize success.
• Understand department critical path, supply base and trading calendar.
• Ensure knowledge of UK/EU legislation for new products.
• Support technologists and global product compliance teams in managing supplier quality issues.
