Job summary

Vargo is supporting our Financial Services client with the appointment of a Compliance & Risk Officer on a permanent basis. The role reports to the Head of Risk and Compliance in a regulated financial services environment.

We are seeking a professional with experience in compliance, auditing or regulatory roles, strong understanding of risk frameworks, data protection and regulatory standards. Hybrid working pattern and visa sponsorship not available. Right-to-work in the UK is required.

• Strong understanding of risk frameworks and data protection.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as Executive Committee Secretary.
• Coordinate leadership and executive meetings.
• Prepare agendas and meeting packs.
• Attend meetings and produce minutes.
• Track actions and escalate where needed.
• Support the compliance plan delivery.
• Maintain policies, procedures and frameworks.
