Job summary

Cura Terrae Group seeks an Environmental Clerk of Work to join our Land & Nature team, delivering environmental compliance monitoring and advisory support on housing, renewable energy and infrastructure projects across Scotland. Ideal candidates have a degree in Environmental Management, a driving licence, and strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Management or a related environmental discipline.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and record-keeping skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental compliance monitoring, auditing and advisory support across construction projects.
• Monitor compliance with planning conditions, environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare environmental compliance reports, SWMPs and PPPs.
• Identify environmental risks and advise on practical mitigations.
• Support delivery of projects within budgets and programmes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, regulators and project partners.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver environmental solutions.
• Assist with technical reporting and project documentation.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and development of environmental best practice.
