Job summary

Writer is seeking a software engineer to empower enterprises with secure, scalable generative AI foundations. You’ll design and develop robust AI services, APIs, and UI layers, working across architecture, backend, and frontend to enable enterprise adoption.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps to ship resilient systems, applying a whole-systems approach and mentoring peers in a hybrid, London-ready setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building generative AI applications.
• Solid Python development in production environments.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, OAuth, RBAC and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable generative AI services and applications using Python.
• Build high-performance APIs and microservices to integrate AI models.
• Own architecture decisions from proposal to production deployment.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor other engineers and drive code quality and security.
