Job summary

Bettys & Taylors in Harrogate is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering development projects, delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget. The role reports to the Engineering Development Manager and collaborates with a small team onsite with hybrid working options.

You will oversee equipment design, installation and commissioning in FMCG environments, contribute to capital investment plans, manage stakeholders and coach project teams while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• A minimum HNC level 4 in engineering and experience in project management and procurement of packaging equipment for the FMCG industry.
• Strong planning, budgeting, risk management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering on time and within budget; AutoCAD & SolidWorks knowledge preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams, manage stakeholders and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of highly complex operational projects on time and within budget.
• Contribute to development of capital investment plans.
• Equipment design, specification, and management of installations and commissioning in FMCG.
• Explore opportunities for best-in-class operations and manufacturing.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for Taylors across the business.
• Lead, coach and motivate multiple project teams.
