Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Witney, Oxfordshire. The role offers hybrid working with three days on-site and a salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 plus specialist training and progression.

You will design and develop high-integrity embedded software for autonomous systems, with opportunities to contribute to safety-critical software architecture and DO-178C DAL A/B certification objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software design for autonomous systems.
• Commercial experience with C, C++, Ada or a comparable low-level language.
• Safety-critical or aerospace development experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for autonomous systems
• Build runtime-safety, monitoring and fail-safe functionality
• Contribute to high-integrity software architecture, integration and V&V
• Support certification-focused development against DO-178C DAL A/B objectives
