Job summary

Senior Design Engineer role in Totnes, Devon, offering hybrid/flexible working arrangements. You will own electro-mechanical product design from concept through to manufacture on a fast-growing engineering team delivering multi-million-pound bids for blue-chip clients.

The role covers full lifecycle design, prototyping, testing, documentation and support for manufacture, with on-the-job training and a collaborative culture that values innovation and quality.

Qualifications

• Senior Design Engineer with at least 5 years' experience in electro-mechanical design.
• Proficient in CAD software and product development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design across a range of electromechanical products from concept to manufacture.
• Own full project lifecycle and budgets for dedicated projects.
• Develop new design concepts and select materials for production.
• Provide product/industry training and support for manufacture.
• Work on projects that contribute to a growing order book and client bids.
