Job summary

A leading ecological consultancy is seeking a motivated Ecologist to join their team in the UK. This full-time position offers a salary of £30,000-£40,000, depending on experience. The Ecologist will undertake ecological surveys and prepare robust reports, contributing to environmental projects. Candidates should have a degree in Ecology or Environmental Science, experience in fieldwork, and a strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation. Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in ecological fieldwork and report writing.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake ecological surveys including Phase 1/UKHab.
  • Prepare ecological reports such as PEAs and EIAs.
  • Assist in ecological mitigation and habitat creation.
  • Maintain compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
