Job summary

Recruit UK in Manchester is seeking a Desk Based Financial Planner to join a growing wealth management team. You will provide independent financial advice to private clients and grow the existing client relationships across a broad planning remit.

The role is hybrid, with a salary of up to £55,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life Assurance and enhanced annual leave. You will work under FCA regulations to deliver high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Experience as a Financial Adviser or Financial Planner.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations.
• Excellent client relationship management.
• Ability to identify and develop new client opportunities.
• Proficient in financial planning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture an existing client portfolio and build relationships.
• Proactively contact clients to introduce and convert to ongoing service.
• Conduct regular client reviews and identify changing financial planning needs.
• Provide holistic financial planning across investments, pensions, retirement and wealth solutions.
• Identify opportunities for additional advice and generate new business from clients.
• Achieve revenue and business development targets.
• Support local, regional and national sales and marketing initiatives.
• Produce high-quality client reports and recommendations using approved processes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records.
