Job summary

PA Consulting in the UK is seeking an experienced Data Science consultant to join our Digital & Data team. You will apply mathematical modelling and ML to real client challenges, translating complex data into actionable decisions.

You will work across sectors, collaborate with product, design and engineering colleagues, and contribute to agile projects. The role supports hybrid work with client sites and office days, plus a learning budget and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree, Masters or PhD in data science, mathematics, operational research, physics or statistics.
• Experience conducting analysis for evidence-based decision making.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical approaches and solutions.
• Experience across the full analytics lifecycle: problem framing to handover.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science projects and ML solutions for clients across sectors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics approaches.
