Job summary

bp is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build and operate scalable data platforms, pipelines and products that empower data-driven decisions across Finance. You will translate complex requirements into robust data solutions and lead technical delivery.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, data scientists and stakeholders, and help establish modern data engineering practices across the organization while delivering secure, cost-efficient data assets.

Qualifications

• Significant enterprise-scale data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and data modelling expertise.
• Cloud data platform experience, Azure preferred.
• Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build and operate cloud data platforms and datasets.
• Implement CI/CD, testing, monitoring and observability.
• Provide technical leadership across delivery teams.
• Mentor data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
