Job summary

ICAEW is hiring a Data Engineer in Milton Keynes to design and build scalable data pipelines and data models supporting analytics across the organisation. You will work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python and SQL to deliver reliable, end-to-end data solutions.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern and a competitive salary, with strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement in data governance and analytics.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with Python, Spark and SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Experience building data pipelines and data models to support analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines, ingestion processes and integrations using Azure Data Factory and Databricks and related services.
• Develop and maintain datasets and data models that support analytics and reporting, following established modelling standards
• Contribute to data lineage, metadata management and cataloguing practices, including exposure to Purview
• Work closely with the Lead Data Engineer, Analysts and Architects to develop and improve engineering standards and practices
• Collaborate with other engineers through pairing, code reviews and shared problem-solving
