Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Data Architect to design, build and govern the data landscape for the Zone Data Hub on Azure. You will work across regions to ensure scalable, compliant data models and tools.

You will lead the Common Data Model initiative, collaborate with data engineers, analysts and business leaders, and leverage Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Power BI to deliver high‑quality data solutions in a hybrid Manchester office.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in data architecture with a focus on Common Data Models.
• Expertise in Azure data tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Power BI) for integration and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, transformation, and management practices.
• Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and residency requirements.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across regions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of the Common Data Model and data architectures across the organization.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI to integrate and transform data across regions.
• Ensure compliance with data residency regulations and data security.
• Develop standards for data modeling and alignment with the CDM.
• Collaborate with regional and global data teams to fulfill requirements.
• Work with IT to ensure data tools are integrated and optimized.
