Job summary

Nationwide offers a 12-month Data & Analytics Industrial Placement in Retail, designed to blend practical experience with professional development. You’ll gain exposure to analytics, reporting and emerging technologies while working on real projects to support customer outcomes.

Join a hybrid programme across our UK estate, with at least two days per week at Swindon or Northampton offices. Eligibility includes studying towards an undergraduate degree and a passion for data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Strong analytical thinking and an interest in using data to solve problems.
Curiosity about trends, patterns and the reasons behind business performance.
Confidence interpreting information and using evidence to support decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Join a collaborative project with other Industrial Placement students across Nationwide.
Develop technical and professional skills through workshops and structured learning.
Contribute to meaningful work from day one and receive mentoring and support.
Complete experiences across Data & Analytics teams to understand how information improves decisions.
Analyse data, build dashboards, create reports and visualisations, identify opportunities.
