Job summary

AMS, acting on behalf of a major UK retail bank, seeks a Data Analyst (Graduate Opportunity) in London with hybrid work options. The role centres on translating business requirements into governed data models aligned with enterprise architecture and data risk management objectives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, owners, and SMEs to design data solutions, maintain data definitions and metadata, and contribute to governance initiatives ensuring data quality and consistency across domains.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Data, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality and data risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and improve enterprise data models across domains.
• Translate requirements into conceptual, logical and physical models.
• Support data design activities, reviews and data quality investigations.
• Collaborate with BI, Architects, SMEs and Data Owners to meet needs.
• Create and maintain data contracts, definitions and metadata docs.
• Support data lineage and governance requirements.
• Promote data standards and modelling best practices.
• Ensure data structures are fit for purpose and scalable.
