Control Risks in London is seeking an Investigative Researcher to conduct desktop and online research into cyber threats, enriching CTI reporting for our Cyber Incident Response team and supporting bespoke investigations.

The role requires hybrid work from our London office, with three days per week in the office, and entails threat actor profiling, incident analysis, and developing insights for the Seerist platform.

Qualifications

• Interest in cyber threat and risk issues and how political developments affect threats.
• Knowledge of intelligence and threat assessment principles.
• Experience in operational and tactical research on cyber incidents.
• Academic or professional training in cyber investigations or OSINT.
• Ability to prepare sizable written reports for senior audiences.

Responsabilités

• Profile cyber threat actors to support incidents and investigations.
• Research incidents and data breaches and contribute to CTI reporting.
• Develop sources and capabilities to collect and analyse information.
• Support monitoring of deep and dark web sources; weekend monitoring possible.
