Job summary

Erin Associates is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer for a 6-month contract in the Birmingham area. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days on-site at Solihull and involves implementing security controls and leading incident response initiatives.

You will work on XDR platforms, vulnerability management and security monitoring while supporting compliance with NIST/CIS/PCI-DSS and related frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on cyber security experience with NIST, CIS and PCI-DSS.
• Preferably experience with Cortex XDR, Illumio Core/CloudSecure and Microsoft Security.
• Knowledge of Defender, Azure AD, Purview and Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls, XDR, vulnerability management and PAM.
• Support threat hunting, security monitoring and incident response.
• Deliver cyber security projects and implement new security technologies.
• Support InfoSec compliance, risk management and security frameworks.
• Identify and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
