Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Cyber Ecosystem Manager to lead administration for the DiSH project and to coordinate with academic staff, researchers and industry partners. You will help shape project strategy, ensure timely delivery and maintain professional confidentiality in line with university policies.

You will liaise with partners, contribute to communications, and support cross-institutional programmes within the Cyber Ecosystem portfolio, reporting to senior project

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver complex projects to strict deadlines with successful outcomes.
• Experience of budget planning and financial management for large projects.
• Coordinating with multiple organisations and ensuring effective communication, knowledge elicitation and resource sharing.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with academic staff, external partners and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Liaise on behalf of University of Manchester with Cyber Ecosystem organisations and partners.
• Develop and maintain excellent communication between project members, researchers, academics and SMEs.
• Contribute to project strategy and planning.
• As Project Manager for UoM involvement with DiSH, work with the Digital Futures Communications and Engagement Coordinator on Centre for Digital Trust and Security themes.
• Support Cyber Ecosystem programmes and projects including Cyber Focus, Cyber Com, North West Cyber Corridor and Centre for Digital Innovation.
• Report to the School Research and Project Manager and Professor Daniel Dresner; ensure tasks are completed professionally, confidentially and per UoM policies.
