Job summary

A well-known retail company in Redditch is seeking a Cost Accountant responsible for maintaining standard costs and analyzing inventory records. The ideal candidate should be part/fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA and have manufacturing experience. Key responsibilities include controlling the standard cost roll procedure in SAP, preparing inventory reports, and assisting with annual physical inventory coordination. Qualifications

• Part/Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent).
• Qualified by experience will be considered.
• Degree level, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Control and process the annual standard cost roll procedure in SAP.
• Prepare analysis and reports on inventory on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare reports analysing inventory ageing to calculate provisions for OSMI.
• Assist with the coordination of the annual physical inventory preparation.
• Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
