William James Recruitment is handling a search for a Corporate Solicitor / Partner in Manchester. You will take a lead role in growing the firm's corporate presence across the North West, handling a broad range of M&A, corporate finance and private equity transactions for owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.

• Broad experience in M&A, corporate finance and private equity transactions.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and generate new instructions.
• Strong commercial awareness with strategic judgement.
• Experience advising owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporates.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Collaborative in approach and capable of working with colleagues across disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on a broad range of M&A, corporate finance and private equity transactions.
• Advise owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and corporate clients.
• Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, investment agreements and joint venture documents.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance and corporate governance advice to clients.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the corporate practice.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships across the North West.
