Eight Financial Advice is seeking a talented Copywriter to join its Marketing & Communications team in the United Kingdom. You will craft clear, engaging content across websites, emails, social media, PR, events and internal communications to bring our brand to life.

Working in a regulated financial services environment, you’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to turn complex financial topics into accessible copy, while ensuring accuracy, compliance and a consistent Eight experience.

Qualifications

• A naturally curious writer who wants to understand the subject before writing about it.
• Creative and commercially minded, with the judgement to know when copy should inform, persuade, reassure or prompt action.
• Meticulous about detail, accuracy and the quality of the finished work.
• Confident enough to challenge a brief or wording when there is a clearer or more effective way to communicate it.
• Comfortable working at pace across multiple businesses, audiences and priorities.
• Collaborative, low-ego and receptive to feedback, while able to defend good copywriting decisions constructively.
• Proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership from initial brief through to approved final copy.

Responsibilities

• Write engaging copy for websites, emails, newsletters, client communications, social media, campaigns and marketing materials.
• Create content that explains financial topics and the value of financial advice in clear, accessible language.
• Develop headlines, messaging and calls to action that capture attention and encourage people to take the next step.
• Adapt content for different audiences, platforms and stages of the client journey.
• Proofread and edit copy to ensure it is accurate, consistent and ready for publication.
• Work with the Marketing team to develop and deliver campaign messaging across multiple channels.
• Write email campaigns and follow-up journeys that encourage engagement, enquiries and meetings.
• Create and update website pages, landing pages, articles, guides and FAQs.
• Apply SEO principles to improve online visibility while keeping content natural, useful and engaging.
• Review existing content and use performance insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
