Job summary

A reputable fashion retailer in Greater Manchester is seeking a Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies. The role includes drafting compliance policies, managing risks, and promoting a compliance culture within the team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in UK financial services compliance, excellent analytical skills, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role offers a hybrid working model and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance role within UK financial services.
  • Experience of preparing FCA permissions applications preferable.
  • Demonstrable experience of organising team affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to FCA, GDPR, UK Bribery Act, and other regulations.
  • Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
  • Identify compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Skills

Strong understanding of UK financial services regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communicator
High attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects

Education

Professional certifications (ICA or similar)
