Randstad Care is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join East Lothian Council's Community team in Scotland. This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate and hybrid working arrangements, with a committed point of contact for support.

The candidate will work across ASP, AWI, SDS, and Direct Payments, coordinating care with the hospital and community teams to prevent crises and support carers. PVG and SSSC registration are required, with experience in adult services essential.

Qualificações

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant degree and registration.
• Experience in adult social care settings in Scotland.
• PVG checked prior to start.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Adult Support and Protection (ASP) and assess needs.
• Handle AWI and Mental Health Act-related duties.
• Conduct SDS and Direct Payments assessments.
• Collaborate with Community First team and occupational therapists.
• Assess carers and manage referrals and funding decisions.
• Respond to crises to prevent hospital admissions.
• Travel to hospitals and client homes as needed.
