Job summary

G2legal represents a respected regional firm in Orpington, seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 3+ PQE to handle a varied caseload across commercial disputes. The role offers hybrid working and clear development opportunities within a partner-led team.

You will manage commercial contract disputes, debt recovery, landlord and tenant issues, property litigation, contentious probate, civil litigation, professional negligence, ADR/mediation, and general disputes, with mentoring and client

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Commercial Litigation or Dispute Resolution.
• Experience managing a broad range of contentious matters.
• Comfortable running your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Commercially aware and solutions-focused.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Enjoy collaborating within a team environment.
• Keen to contribute to business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Meeting clients and taking instructions.
• Providing practical, commercial and strategic legal advice.
• Managing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation.
• Keeping clients informed on progress and developments.
• Maintaining accurate file management and compliance records.
• Handling client enquiries efficiently and professionally.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Supporting business development, networking and marketing initiatives.
