Job summary

FSP is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, delivering high-quality technology solutions across client engagements. The role emphasizes digital technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise architectures to align business and technology strategies.

The successful candidate will advise on future-state architectures, governance, and practical roadmaps while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience advising stakeholders on technology strategy and architecture.
• Track record leading architecture across agile delivery teams.
• Knowledge of cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with GOV.UK standards, security guidance, and government services is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-native, API-led, integration and enterprise architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and assurance of architectures aligned to client objectives and outcomes.
• Act as trusted advisor, providing architectural guidance and technology leadership.
• Collaborate with clients, partners and delivery teams to evaluate options.
• Assess landscapes to identify risks, opportunities, and technical debt.
• Define governance, standards and best practices for delivery.
• Create roadmaps and migration strategies across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews and executive presentations.
• Support business development, bids and client proposals.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to requirements.
