Job summary

Capgemini is looking for a network design engineer to author HL/LLD documents for client networks, drive platform automation, and deliver carrier-grade solutions. The role focuses on secure routing, switching, and network design standards within a hybrid London environment.

You will collaborate with partners to gather requirements, influence security roadmaps, and contribute to project testing and planning. Extensive Cisco experience and professional certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience working for a Service Provider.
• Competent in designing carrier grade network solutions.
• Good experience with service provider technologies for routing, switching and security.
• Strong understanding of reliability, availability and design longevity.

Responsibilities

• Author High Level and Low Level Design Documents for client networks.
• Own software/hardware selection, perform bug scrubs and security assessments.
• Drive platform improvements to enable automation and DevOps capabilities.
• Design carrier grade network solutions complying with client standards.
• Elicit business and technical requirements with partners during collection phase.
• Steer security feature roadmaps with technology partners for planning and budgeting.
• Provide input for case preparation and project updates.
