Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Capital Accountant on a 9-month fixed term contract. The role supports the finance team through a busy period, focusing on capital accounting processes, financial reporting, and year-end activities.

The candidate should be CCAB-qualified (or equivalent) or part-qualified with capital accounting experience, capable of delivering under tight deadlines within a large, complex organisation and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Capital accounting experience required.
• Ability to manage year-end processes and reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the production of year-end capital accounts.
• Manage capital valuations, revaluations, and associated recalculations.
• Prepare and complete TAC forms and supporting documentation.
• Undertake month-end accounting activities and reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor the capital ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Complete statutory returns and PSR submissions.
• Produce capital reports and provide supporting analysis to key stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain robust financial documentation and audit trails.
• Support the ongoing management and monitoring of the capital programme.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
