Job summary

VanRath is seeking a BI Data Engineer in Belfast to join a growing Data & Analytics function. The role focuses on data pipelines, ETL, data modelling, reporting and analytics to improve data access and decision-making.

You will work across data pipelines, modelling and BI tooling in a modern data environment, with hybrid working in Belfast and a strong emphasis on data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in data, BI or data engineering role.
• Strong SQL skills and relational databases.
• Experience developing or supporting ETL processes.
• Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing.
• Experience with BI or reporting technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and data quality.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Supporting data integration from multiple sources.
• Designing and maintaining data models for reporting and analytics.
• Working with data warehouses and modern data platforms.
• Supporting dashboards, reporting products and analytical solutions.
• Troubleshooting data and reporting issues.
• Contributing to analytics, automation, AI and ML initiatives.
