Job summary

Datatech is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to build and shape the organisation's BI capability. You will own the BI roadmap, translate business questions into analytics, and deliver enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and Azure data pipelines.

Working with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Marketing and Leadership, you will optimise data quality, governance and self-service reporting, while exploring technologies like Microsoft Fabric and AI to future-proof the BI strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced Power BI development experience.
• Strong SQL and database optimisation skills.
• Experience designing robust data models.
• Excellent knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
• Experience developing ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of Azure data services.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent understanding of data governance and data quality.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to challenge assumptions using data.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to translate complex analysis into practical business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Designing and developing enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Building scalable semantic data models and reusable datasets.
• Creating intuitive self-service reporting solutions for business users.
• Developing and maintaining Azure-based data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Designing scalable Azure data architecture.
• Optimising SQL queries and database performance.
