Job summary

Teneo is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant in London to support the Financial Advisory business. The role offers hybrid working with at least two days in the London office and exposure to international finance teams.

You will gain experience across finance processes, systems and reporting, leveraging Excel skills and progressing with professional qualifications. Training and a dynamic social calendar complement a modern city workspace.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ finance experience with exposure to Accounts Payable.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles; able to learn quickly.
• Working towards ACCA, CIMA or AAT, or a Finance/Accounting degree is advantageous.
• Experience with finance systems; NetSuite experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Collaborative and flexible team player, comfortable across teams and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Accounts Payable for the Financial Advisory business.
• Process and manage invoices and AP transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support payments, reconciliations and invoice query resolution.
• Work across multiple finance systems and platforms.
• Use Excel to review, reconcile and analyse financial data.
• Collaborate with London and international finance colleagues for cross-geography support.
• Take ownership of deadlines and deliverables to keep processes running smoothly.
