Job summary

Jacob Grey Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a numerate Finance Administrator to support the finance function. Reporting to a seasoned Finance Manager, you will manage purchase and sales ledgers, handle BACS payments, and support month-end tasks.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern (2 days from home) and a standard 9-5 week with 23 days holiday. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in similar roles, and an AAT qualification would be a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing purchase and sales ledgers.
• Strong credit control and cashflow awareness.
• AAT qualification is a bonus.
• Accurate and proactive with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of purchase ledger including processing invoices and payments by BACS.
• Handle all aspects of sales ledger including posting cash and issuing invoices.
• Perform credit control including chasing debts by phone and email and provide monthly cashflow updates.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Assist the Finance Manager with month-end tasks.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
