Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking an Accounts Assistant (12-Month) for a hybrid role with free parking. You will gain hands-on experience across both payables and receivables while supporting daily finance operations.

In this busy role you will process invoices, assist with payments, reconcile accounts, maintain supplier and customer records, and help drive improvements in our processes within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Purchase & Sales Ledger experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Experience with Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and allocate incoming payments accurately.
• Support payment runs (UK and international) and handle supplier/customer queries.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and daily bank transactions.
• Maintain accurate records for suppliers and customers in the system.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist credit control activities.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
