Job summary

Fusion People seeks an Accountant to support multiple UK ledgers and deliver timely financial reporting for stakeholders. You will own reporting for assigned ledgers, ensure reconciled balance sheets, and manage SOX obligations.

The role includes monthly statements, VAT returns, annual audit packs, cash forecasts, and cross-location collaboration. Hybrid work after training, 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification(s) from recognised bodies.
• Experience in financial reporting and control processes.
• Knowledge of UK accounting standards and SOX controls desirable.
• Ability to work across multiple ledgers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly income statements and reconciled balance sheets for UK ledgers.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly SOX compliance documentation.
• Compile annual statutory audit packs within deadlines.
• Prepare and submit accurate cash forecasts.
• Prepare monthly VAT returns for UK entities.
• Review payments and support reporting with accurate documentation.
