Job summary

AJ Chambers, an established accountancy practice based in Harrow, is seeking an ACA/ACCA part-qualified, finalist or fully qualified accountant to join a growing team. The role covers a broad range of accounts and tax work for SME clients.

You will prepare statutory and management accounts, tax returns, VAT and manage client relationships, with potential to convert the initial 12-month fixed-term contract into a permanent role. Hybrid working in North West London.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA part-qualified, finalist or fully qualified
• UK accountancy practice experience required
• Strong accounts preparation and tax experience
• Confident dealing directly with clients
• Good technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Commercial, proactive, and keen to progress

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and build relationships.
• Prepare corporation and personal tax returns.
• Deal with VAT and general accounting matters.
• Liaise directly with clients and provide day-to-day support.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners on complex assignments.
• Take on increasing responsibility as experience develops.
