Framestore Limited in London is seeking an experienced Compositing Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of compositors across film, advertising and episodic work. You will oversee quality, supervise on-set VFX activities, and collaborate with the VFX Supervisor, Creative Director and Production to plan and bid work.

The role requires 8+ years in compositing, expert Nuke skills, and a proven track record in managing and expanding a 2D team.

Qualificações

• 8+ years experience in compositing across film, advertising and episodic.
• Expert user of Nuke and other compositing software.
• Proven artist management and leadership skills.
• Experience recruiting and building up a 2D team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of compositors on a broad range of projects.
• Brief/mentor junior/mid/senior level talent and cast shots appropriately.
• Take responsibility for the quality of the work of the team as a whole.
• Hands on compositing shots and sequences to a finished standard.
• Work proactively with other VFX and support departments.
• Work with production to bid and schedule work.
• Attend client reviews and lead daily reviews with the compositing team.
• On set VFX supervision for 2D based projects.
• Balance the creative and technical aspects of each shot/sequence.
• Solve difficult technical and artistic compositing challenges.
• Colour pipeline management and 2D workflow integration with DI, CG and DMP.
