Job description
What will I be doing?
  • Manage and control staff and resources, to ensure that all sites are fully manned on a day to day basis, including Bank Holidays.
  • Dealing with the Environment and other stakeholders.
  • Manage all HWRC staff and contractors employed at regional sites, ensuring efficient and safe site operations in compliance with current legislation and company procedures.
  • Ensure through good management, communication and training that recycling targets and relevant Key Performance Indicators are met and that all site staff are competent in their role and aware of the company vision.
What are the requirements?
  • Customer service is key in this role - so excellent customer service standards are expected. You a e also expected to implement throughout the contract
  • Level 4 COTC qualification (desirable) - however full training will be provided if you do not currently hold this qualification.
  • Ideally you will have experience within the waste and recycling industry.
  • Knowledge of H&S legislations and relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are desirable.
  • Full UK Driving License is essential for this role.
  • Mobile plant experience is desirable.
