CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Newcastle is seeking an HVAC Technical Supervisor to oversee the operation of managed facilities. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, client requests, and service expansion opportunities.

You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate vendor supervision. The position emphasizes strong leadership, FM knowledge, and F-Gas qualifications, with regular reporting on performance and financial metrics.

Formación

• FM knowledge is required.
• F-Gas qualification is required.
• Apprentice training is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee facility operations: electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence.
• Respond to client requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the facilities and surrounding area.
• Assist with proposals and bids for new business.
• Possibly grow and mentor a team of technicians and facility staff.
• Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Technical Supervisor in Newcastle to oversee the operation of our managed facilities.

The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for managing the main building, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed, responding to client requests, and identifying and pursuing opportunities for facility improvements and additional service offerings.

The Role

• Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including but not limited to: Electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security systems, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to these schedules.
• Respond to and resolve client requests and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage and oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing performance, and ensuring quality of service.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned facilities and the surrounding area.
• Assist with the development of proposals and bids for new business.
• Opportunity to grow, supervisor and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and other facility staff.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.

Hours

• Monday - Friday
• 7am - 3pm / 9am - 6pm
• Overtime available

Experience & Qualifications

• FM knowledge required
• F-Gas qualification
• Apprentice trained is advantageous
• Strong leadership skills
