Job summary

FläktGroup UK is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to join our field-based regional team in Worcestershire. You will attend client sites, perform PPMs, repairs, refurbishments, and commissioning of HVAC plant, and respond to emergency calls with a 4-hour SLA.

Ideal candidates hold City & Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas qualification, and a full UK driving licence. You’ll work independently, with strong IT skills and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Qualification (C&G 2079-11).
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• Extensive A/C service experience, including VRV, VRF, chillers, splits & close control systems.
• Strong fault-finding ability and excellent communication skills.
• Confident working independently with solid IT knowledge (Excel, Word, email, databases).
• Clearance checks including DBS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to provide expert technical assistance and engineering support.
• Carry out PPM, repairs, refurbishments, modifications, and commissioning of HVAC plant and equipment.
• Respond to emergency call-outs with a 4-hour SLA regional rota.
• Prepare on-site risk assessments to support a safe working environment.
• Spot service enhancement opportunities and pass on sales leads.
• Support and guide apprentices and trainees in their development.
• Contribute to the upkeep of F Gas compliance using our digital tracking system.
