We are seeking an skilled and experienced HVAC Manager to join the Claridge's Technical Services team.

As a HVAC Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Protect the Company's interests in the building, plant and equipment, ensuring the safety of guests, visitors and colleagues.
  • Maintain the asset value of the property and enhance, refine and improve presentation and operating effectiveness to provide an exceptional guest and colleague experience.
  • Control and assist in the execution of major Capital projects.
  • Be a key driver in the Maybourne Hotel Group Property Care Programme
  • Undertake inspections of guest and internal/departmental areas, the property and all FF&E to ensure it is kept in the best condition, recommending preventative maintenance where needed and to identify major needs for repair or action
  • Develop and implement a robust Planned and Preventative Maintenance regime across M&E services, structure, fabric and FF&E
  • Establish and implement a perfect room programme in accordance with Claridges standards and budgetary expectations.
  • Ensure reactive maintenance systems, including utilisation of the KnowCross tool, are fully operational to limit downtime of bedrooms and services. Monitor and utilise KnowCrcoss data to support the implementation of a comprehensive preventative maintenance programme for all equipment and property features
  • Ensure plant and all machinery is on a well‑monitored, fully documented and scheduled maintenance programme, ensuring a Plant Planned Maintenance system is in place which is fit for purpose, adhered to and correctly documented throughout the department to ensure full compliance with all Company and legislative requirements.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of all Claridges contracts to ensure effective and efficient service level agreements are in place and achieved. Manage all contractors on site and ensure all Health and Safety, legislative requirements and Claridge's standards are adhered to and audited regularly to ensure compliance.

Successful candidates for our HVAC Manager opportunity will:

  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge's and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service
  • Have experience working in a similar role within a hotel environment.
  • Be a proven leader, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, plant rooms and general building maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Be flexible and adaptably, and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A high standard of personal presentation with a confident, professional and welcoming personality
