Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled technical authority to oversee Exhaust Ventilation systems and HVACs across sites, ensuring compliance with legislation and CBRE procedures.

You will support CBRE teams and third-party suppliers with expert guidance, quality controls, and data-driven improvements. Based in the United Kingdom, you will liaise with engineering operations and project teams to enforce standards, implement innovative solutions, and lead self-checks and audits.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with HVAC/LEV systems and risk controls.
  • Knowledge of applicable UK legislation and GXP-like quality controls where relevant.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights for site delivery.

  • Ensure HVAC/LEV systems comply with current legislation and CBRE procedures.

  • Provide innovative ideas and technology to improve service delivery.
  • Deliver quality and performance audits on time in full.
  • Develop specialist skills to keep up with evolving equipment and technologies.

Job description

Job Purpose:

Act as technical Authority for Exhaust Ventilation systems and HVAC’s across the sites.

Supporting Third-Party Suppliers and CBRE teams by providing technical advice, best practice and safe systems of work.

Ensure technical delivery is fully compliant and fulfils legal requirements. Following CBRE systems and procedures.

Key Tasks:
  • Point of contact for all HVAC/LEV service-related issues for Engineering Operations.
  • Third party service reports reviews, sign off and follow up corrective actions on any fault found.
  • Ensure the site HVAC/LEV systems are kept maintained to current legislation (where applicable) and best available technology.
  • Liaise with all project teams on site to ensure current site standards are used and implemented.
  • Provide innovative ideas /technology to improve the business delivery.
  • Ensure work is completed in line to GSK engineering standards and CBRE procedures.
  • Provide technical support and governance to projects.
  • Ensure all Quality controls systems and procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Provide analytical data for management and clients as necessary.
  • Develop specialist skills and knowledge to align with current developing equipment and technologies.
  • Ensure all LEV/HVAC equipment is being utilized and maintained correctly with the required controls in place.
  • Act as point of escalation for LEV/HVAC teams including Labs.
  • Review that the correct records are used and the correct process are being used across all equipment, paying special attention to GXP processes/ spares and controls.
  • Review PPMs been fully followed and develop new ones where short falls are found.
  • Review specialist reports and evaluate faults trends.
  • Deliver improved correctives actions for common faults found.
  • Audit site performance and deliver improvements on any gups found.
  • Deliver Quality / performance audits On Time In full.
  • Deliver Machine Safety (MSRA's/ Standard Isolations when required) on the systems and equipment within scope/ area of responsibility.
  • If required by the origination, be appointed as AP or SAP, (training will be provided as required).
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Active engagement with clients and account leaders to build account technology roadmap in alignment with client outcomes ensuring that CBRE's technology is viewed as "Leading" in client surveys.
  • Facilitate and connect technology subject matter experts and thought leaders (internal and external to CBRE) with account teams and leadership to discuss, design and deliver on new account innovation and/or operational requirements

Person Specification:
  • Degree level or equivalent education
  • Languages English
  • Strong experience data and insight
  • Strong experience in driving new D&T initiatives
  • Proven capability working with teams for delivery of initiatives, including SMARTFM
