HVAC Engineer – Single-Site Role

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Engineer to join our team at our Preston site. This is a site-based position, perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a dedicated facilities and maintenance team.

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the site. You’ll ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems and associated plant.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across air handling units, chillers, boilers, and ventilation systems.
  • Support installations, upgrades, and energy-efficiency improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance documentation.
About You
  • Qualified in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Building Services Engineering (Level 3 NVQ / HNC / equivalent).
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
