Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an HVAC Engineer (Design / Project) for a Reading-based role, offering a hybrid work pattern with office presence two days per week. The role focuses on transitioning from HVAC design/project work into a sales-oriented position for bespoke noise control solutions.

You will visit clients, generate new business, and manage key accounts within the industry, with typical hours 9am–5:30pm Mon–Fri and a 4:30pm finish on Fridays.

Are you an Engineer from a HVAC Background with experience in either Design and Project work, looking to transition your career into a varied role, with a company offering a highly competitive salary, tailed training on sales techniques, allowing you to become a fully fledged Sales Engineer?

Founded over 40 years ago, this building services manufacturing company specialise in noise control solutions across Europe, boasting steady growth over the years alongside a strong reputation in their niche and profitable industry.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for bringing in new business along with manager key accounts within the industry. You will be on the road, visiting new prospects along with booking in appointments and selling a variety of bespoke noise control solutions. There is hybrid work available; however, you will be expected in the office 2 days a week.

This role would suit an Engineer from a HVAC background with design or project experience, looking to transition into a sales based role.

The Role:

• Selling a variety of bespoke noise control solutions
• On the road visiting clients and creating new business
• Managing key accounts within the industry
• Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, with a 4:30pm finish on Friday
